A prayer for every day

“O God when I begin to worry about my work, help me to know that with your help I can cope.
When I begin to worry about money, help me to remember that, though money is important, there are things that money cannot buy - and these are the most precious things of all.
Sometimes I begin to worry about my health, help me to remember that worrying makes me worse, and that trusting always makes me better.
When I begin to worry about those I love, help me to do everything I can for them, and then to leave them in your care.
Give me tonight your peace in my troubled heart
Through Jesus Christ my Lord.
